People assume a group like ours is quietly assembling companies to sell them on. We're not.
We started AlienWave in 2018 with one company and no plan to become a group. The second one happened because the first could pay for it. That's roughly how every one since has come about — slowly, and out of our own pocket.
When you build that way, selling stops being the point. You keep what you build because you actually want to run it. It makes us slower than the investors-and-exit crowd, and honestly we're fine with that.
